In order to stand out at the SXSW interactive festival, Team Detroit needed a consistent brand language to use for all of the communications surrounding their presentation at the conference. Based on the line, "We built the beehive, now where are the flowers?", I developed a visual language for everything from social media assets and signage to glassware and coasters. Using hexagonal patterning and a punchy palette, the design language speaks to the smart yet playful personality and multi-faceted nature of Team Detroit.
